My IBIS baby!
Picked up a new '10 two weeks ago - the contractors working on my house kept staring at it, asking what it is, how fast it goes and marveling over the large rotors. An awful lot of stares and attention driving it around town.

Having owned MK1s and now an MK2, I can say that the MK2 is a BIG head turner....even more than the MK1 back when it was novel. The reason? Not many MK2s out there, especially the TTRs. I am constantly having people looking at the car. Did not buy it for that reason and am amazed how frequent it happens.

Nothing but thumbs up from everyone since I got black on black coupe. Lots of company in our parking lot as well. (I try and park next to the white coupe so we can make a panda lower case tt...)

The haters don't say so but you know all the Boxster owners do!
In my town of Marblehead, MA Pop, 19,000, 3.5 sq.mi. There are at least 20 MK2's. Typical day on the avenue looks like this..

This is the second TT I’ve owned. The first was a denim Mk1 coupe that got more attention than I bargained for. In the 6 years of ownership, I had 2 negative comments, which isn't that surprising since it really had avante garde styling in those days.
Now for my MK2, almost daily I get compliments and even had a guy offer his wife to me in trade ?!?!?.... Not sure who would have made out better in that deal :-).
Before I digress any further, all I'm going to say that in a year when my lease is up, there'll be another in my driveway.

One thing I do like, that I hadn't anticipated, is a kind of exclusivity. Not only do I get the pleasure of a wicked-quick, beautifully designed and perfectly executed (IMO) sport coupe, there isn't another on the road in my locale that I've seen. In fact, I've never been side by side with one anywhere yet.
