Default the fix-a-flat stuff that we have instead of a spare costs $88.00 from the dealer.

I had a flat yesterday evening. My only choice was to use the bottle of fix-a-flat that comes instead of the spare. So basically if I understand this, it makes the tire unusable. And, when I went to parts to purchase a new bottle, they told me the cost was $88.00.
Not only did we get shafted with no jack or spare. Audi has to be making money off this bottle of stuff. I was ok with not having a spare till I went to buy this stuff.

Default Sounds like they gave you full matrix pricing. Ask them for the wholesale price.

Usually they'll give me parts at wholesale if I ask nicely...

Default I did a parts number search online and it turned up the Lamborghini tire sealant.

The price from the website that popped up was $65.62. I bet it's the exact same stuff. I also called Clairparts. Their cost was $71.00. BTW..The audi part number is 8P 0012619

Default Why dont you buy the 10.00 stuff at target: fix a flat?

Anything you use is going to make the tire unusable and ruin the sensors anyway.

Default Apparently the stuff that comes with the car doesn't ruin the sensors.

It's probably the exact same Continental kit that the tirerack sells online.
