Default Wow! If that's the sound of real TT then it has really changed

I'm waiting for the first driving reports in the magazines regarding the new TT. I am sure that 2953 has not told us everything about the car but I believe that the MkII is a significant change over the MkI in performance.

Default i'm quite sure the performance has improved.

i've tried to get AS MUCH information out of 2953 about the new TT, and from what i can gather....the new TT will be quite a significant improvement in performance motoring.

lighter, better chassis, better engines, and overall a tighter and much much better balanced weight distribution. it will be a great car to drive.......if that is what matters to the buyer, of course.

Default Performance should have improved but how much better?

A recent AutoCar article stated that Audi engineers have said that the new TT performs, on several benchmarks, similar to the Porsche Cayman. I do not what benchmarks but I really have the feeling that the 2.0L and 3.2L engines represent the bottom of the new TT range. I would not be surprised to see a 3.6L version at the U.S. market introduction.

Well, next May is a long time to wait!
