How much will a chip improve performance times on a 2.0T? Speculate with common sense.

Well I have the new 2.0T TT too and it is stock for now and when I mash the peddle I dont get any torque steer and the ESP kicks in when needed. My old FWD TT had a good bit of torque steer but with the new mechanical steering in the TT it really helps. I will be getting the GIAC chip too and cant wait to feel that extra torque and power. A little tire spinning can be fun any way.

Default Re: Don't listen to him, i've got a modded front track A3 and it hooks up just fine...

That must be the key then b/c I test drove a 2.0 for a while and I had the front wheels spining from 1st to 2nd. As well I did notice torque steer when I slammed the gas down.

Default Good question - don't have the answer - but with the exception of the clutch - the box is the same

which might mean the diff is the same. I watched Stasis install the LSD in their A3 when my TT was in their shop. Not hard if you have the right tools.

LOL @ HP causes torque steer. . . low end torque causes torque steer. Doh!

Default Torque off the line, HP afterwards...

torque steer isn't just a phenomenon which occurs from 0mph...it can occur at ANY speed.

come on....you're smarter than that yeah?
