I just got my 2008 3.2 TT couple days ago, so sorry for my noob question...
I wanted to play a cd, opened the faceplate and slided in the cd, the slot did not pull the cd in as described in the menu. When I pressed the eject button, nothing came out either.
The navigation part works well, so I figured the navigation system requires the dvd to be in the dvd rom in order for it to work?! It would be pretty stupid if I can either play cd or use the navigation system with the navi dvd in the dvd rom!
Anyhow, if that is the case, can anyone tell me how to eject the dvd?

so, perhaps your dealer locked it out?!? It wouldn't be crazy... especially if you have the 6 disc changer in the glove box... but you didn't say you did... so I don't know. All I know is it's an option you can select so someone doesn't take the disc since the nav is useless without it and it's expensive to replace $$$$...
So, if it honestly won't come out under any circumstances.... that's likely the problem and if you don't have a vag-com, the dealer should take care of it pretty easily for no cost..

Unocking it is a step they're supposed to perform before delivery, but they often forget. You need to get your dealer or repair center to unlock it. Doesn't take long.

I thought the same thing with mine....U have to go to source first then click on navigation then eject...I Think! I left mine in...but after ejecting the dvd ...if you put a cd in you will not be able to use the nav without it. why not use the sd card slots?
