Default iPhone constant un-sync/re-sync with Bluetooth...

... Think I found a bug with my iPhone. Once automatically paired to my car, my iPhone drops its Bluetooth after a few minutes. It synchs up again if I unlock the phone.

If I'm having a conversation via Bluetooth, the phone would lose sync after a while, but then re-sync a minute later. The call would actually not drop.

Weird. Wonder if it's a version 1.0 thing or not.

Any other iPhone owners experiencing the same thing?

You must have it connected to a iPod/iPhone car-charger or the iPhone will go to sleep...

Default That sucks. My previous phone would keep its bluetooth connection after going to sleep...

... I think it should be considered a bug. Not cool for those that have Bluetooth but no iPod connector.

Default My guess is that it would be easy to craft a power adapter for the phone-prep...

Also, BT is a bit power hungry, and I think the sleep-mode is there to keep the claimed run-time as high as possible.

Once I have my new TT in hand, I'm going to see about either re-routing the iPod prep to the Phone-cradle area, and/or building an interface to the phone cradle.

It's definitely a bug, it shouldn't do that. But there is a *workaround* (plug it in)

Default I'll get an iPod car charger tonight. So your iPhone definitely keeps sync when plugged in?...

... my iPhone still goes to sleep when plugged into the wall. We'll see how it goes when plugged to the car. Fingers crossed.
