Default Lease offer: 36 months, $535 (CA tax included) with $2,560 drive off,. Good deal?

This is the lease deal an Audi dealer gave me on a 2008 2.0T Brilant Red Coupe

Term: 36 months?
Payment $535 (includes CA's tax) $495 w/o CA tax
Total Drive off: $2,560
Mileage: 10K a year
Residual: ???
Money Factor: ???

I know it's hard to tell if it's a good deal w/o those two components

Options on the TT:
Brilliant Red
Magnetic Red
Blue tooth ph prep
Leather/alcatara
Ipod Interface
18 inch 7-arm alloy
Bi-xenon headlights
Premium Package
MSPR: $41,425.

This is what I got with 15 minutes of talking to the Internet manager. The car wasn't on the lot for a test drive so I'll come back tomorrow...maybe.

Without knowing the MF and residual, do you guys think it's a good deal? I'm okay with 10K miles a year.

Your lease deal is similar to mine... the one thing the TT's come with a AUX port in console so IPOD interface is not necessary.

I do know that Audi leases are typically pretty high. Much more so than BMW leases, for example. I'm buying my TTR outright, didn't even investigate leases after I saw what they wanted for the S4 lease - somewhere around $750-800/month! My wife's 328xi listed at $45,000 including tire/wheel insurance and we got it for $510/month which included $1500 cap cost reduction (plus tags and documents) or around $2200 out the door. In PA, we pay the going lease rate plus 9% tax on each monthly payment (no sales or property tax on the purchase price). The $510 figure includes the 9% tax.

Thanks. I really don't want the iPod or bluetooth but it's a car they have in stock. But it does have the Xenon and Magentic ride which is a plus.

Default That's very similar to the deal I got.

Monthly is the same, but I put $0 down. The car is almost exactly the same as the one I just picked up, but mine does not have mag ride. I think its a great deal, that's why I went for it.

Your car sounds very familiar. It doesn't happen to be at Penske in West Covina does it?

Yes, actually it is the car from Penske but it's in Rusnak Pasadena now due to a dealer trade. I'll see if they can work a little more off because I'm also considering a '07 Lotus Exige S for $10K off ($52K)

I know they're different cars but I had an '05 Elise and really like the Exige S but probably need a 4 seater due to my 10 month old son. But that's going to be my negotiation plan.

Default Do you want the car? Or would you prefer a different build up?

It's a good deal on that car. I can help you with a different car that may be out there if you want a TT enthusiast and/or a different car. either way, have fun with the TT you get!
