Default Location of comfort control module

Hi everyone,

I have a 2010 TT Quattro 2.0 TFSI. My cigarette lighter and 12 V plug in stopped working. My dimming mirror also doesn't work. I have read that this could be related to the comfort control module. I have no errors on the dash, my windows seem to work fine, no issues with locks and my rear trunk lights work which I read can be related to this module. I have read that you can try resetting these with the vag com. In case it is the module do you know how I can find it? I have found some sources on using resetting with the vag come. Will the vag com tell you if you have a faulty module? I checked all fuses and no issues. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

My 2008 TT Quattro 3.2 comfort control module is in the trunk under the cover.
I imagine all the Mk2 models are the same but not sure.

Yes, VAG COM will tell you if the module is defective. It will report that it can’t communicate with it if that is the case.
