Default Looking to pick up a TTS, but my current lease finishes 2 months earlier...

Looks like the earliest I can pick up a TTS is November 08. Trouble is my A4 lease finishes 2 months earlier (Sept 08).

I know AoA extends leases for those waiting on new models. Anyone have direct experience with this?

Thanks in advance.

Default

Some dealerships are also willing to help you into a loaner car for the interim

Default yes...

I just went on month to month, and turned in my car after got the new Audi. Second time the dealership gave me a loaner for a few weeks till new car came in. They will work out something. One time my new car came in a month before my lease was up. The dealership let me take the new car and didnt charge me for the month I had it when I still was paying on the old one till i turned it in.

Default Yes, extended lease three months waiting for 2nd TT...

Audi FS will also pay 2-3 payments at the end of the lease if the new car comes before your term ends.

Default Awesome, thanks...

... I'm going through AFS on the current lease so that's great news. Should be a piece of cake to extend the lease since I'm a valued customer in their eyes (8 years, 4 cars).

Default Yep, they should take care of you...

I think the rule of thumb is that they will pay up to $2,000 to buy you out of the lease early. On the lease extension, your payment stays the same.

Just keep in mind that by extending the lease, you're essentially tossing money away. They won't count against the residual if you were to change you mind and want to purchase the car.

You may be better off working something out with your dealer and/or see if you can get a monthly rental car for less than the lease payments.
