Default Milltek TT exhaust too much $$$$$

Man Milltek wants $900 for their DP w cat and $750 for the catback. That is real expensive. Anyone know of another exhaust w DP that is for the new TT? Or a cheaper place to get the milltek one.

Also they said that I cant get the 3in DP w cat and stay with stock catback, sound right? Said I would have to have their catback to or there would be too much bottlenecking going on. Im not too sure about that one. Ideas? Thanks.

Default Yep... I think Stratmosphere is the importer in NA. Did you check with them on a price?

Of course, Stratmosphere hasn't yet updated their site to include the Mk2 TT.

I had a full borla on my 02 TT for about $1100. Now they want about $1800 for the Milltek. Two grand for an exhaust that will only produce a few extra ponies seems alot. Our exhaust is already about 2.5 inches and will flow OK so I was really just lookinf for a 3 in DP w highflow cat and they want $900 for that. The DP and CAT on my other TT was only $400 and the catback about $700.

Default go custom and get both dp and exhaust done. why have a 3" go into 2.5" though?

not really worth your time since you loose most of the gains you created with the dp.
