GIAC has their chip out.
But really I don't see a reason to wait, MTM does great work go ask Jet/Jockey on the B6 A4 forum. The only reason to wait for APR is to have the switching options. They are all good companies, had APR on my B6 A4, Giac on my B6 S4 and now MTM. I feel like put them on a dart board and throw a dart and go with them you won't be unhappy.
Yes I will more than likely do the HPA, just depends on when they are near me. I wish I could have sent my modified file from MTM to HPA have them do their magic and upload it all at once, guess I should have called to see if that is what they need. Oh well.

...saw that, but for those with GIAC... how often do you really switch programs...
because that loader is just not cool.. especially since APR's UI is so "oem+" looking...and easy to use... you don't need to carry around that controller in your glovebox... the TT already has sooo much less storage than my S4..

I've got GIAC and carry the flashloader, vag-com cable and portable navi in the glove box always....
I have enough room for those things and paperwork/tire gauge but nothing else.
In terms of how often I switch? Only to take the car in for service, honestly

Audicare just takes care of your oil changes and things.... Audi Premier Protection is the...
extended warranty.... and first, they've got to see that you've flashed your ECU... and even if they know about it, unless the damage done was linked to a change in the program... I don't see them refusing to service something... if your ECU goes and they can tell it was modified.. they'll certainly be calling you out and saving their end though..

That's why I didn't really want to wait, I never used my stock program
Unless someone new was in the car and I wanted to show the difference. But other than that, I used my GIAC only when I went to the track to use the 100 octane program. APR's switch is very nice and easy. But Often I never switch programs.
