Default Nav question...does it show direction/arrows and info the small dash display?

I like the nav in my current TT because it had that quick view right between the gauges. How does the new nav work? I've seen the nav on VW and it does display the info on both screens.

Default Cycle through your console computer display

When you enter destination, the nav display should come up as default on your console display, but if you change it, you just need to cycle through to get back. It goes something like...
Trip computer 1
Trip computer 2
