no hoodliner?
hey guys....I just noticed there's no hoodliner over the engine in this '08 I picked up....you know, the sound insulation barrier that snaps in to the hood over the engine.
Did this model not come with one? I thought all cars had that.

If it helps, my 2009 TT has one. Doesn't cover the whole inside of the hood but just over the engine.

Just always assumed it didn't have one ...every time I wash the car I pop the hood and wipe the underside and the engine and never really thought about it. Is it maybe a U.S. thing? or a 3.2 thing.

I'm in Canada and neither the 08 3.2 that I had, nor the 09 TTS that I have were equipped with a hood liner.
