I have the display above the steering wheel set to show outside temp and AVG MPG. When I shut off car and start back up, I will revert to showing NAV data. I know I can cycle thru with push button to change info displayed above steering wheel, but why does it revert to NAV info? I did set option on NAV to display above steering wheel, but do not want it to be the default on startup. Is this normal?

I think you set it in the Menu.

Sounds normal for me. My B6 S4 and B7 RS4 did/do that if the Nav unit is on.
