Is this normal for TT's
My wife just bought a 2008 2.0 with S Tronic. Car has 30k miles.
Took it for a spin today and overtook another car, upon changing lanes the car became very unstable specially the front. The car was swaying specially when changing lanes. It felt like a major wind blasting. I did not expect this kind of road holding on a vehicle like this.
Could there be something wrong, or is it typical behavior of a fwd?(1st fwd car we own)

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Torque steer”! The power of your car mixed with the drive wheels also turning the car, ad in some ruts in the road and you get torque steer. It is in my opinion the worst part of having a "performance" fwd car. They all do it to some degree and in turbo charged cars it is more noticeable. Over time you will learn to except and adjust to it. I have a feeling you will buy a quattro next time(its not just for bad weather).

were you trying to overtake a car from a stop or slow speed? If so than torque steer sounds like what it was.
Else, it might be a number of things. Tires, road condition, wind, etc.
