Ordered 2013 TTRS, info and pricing
I currently own a 2009 S5, which I love. Have been interested in a newer Audi for about a year. Like the looks and write up's on the TTRS. Problem is no test drive offered at dealers. Do you buy a 60k car without a drive?
Last Monday I found a silver TTRS about 120 miles away (Melbourne FL), called, they agreed to a test drive. Scheduled for Wednesday, WOW, very quick and sounds great. I have owned, prior to the S5 a G37 sport and an M3, none as exciting as the TTRS. The TTRS is amazingly fast as well as comfortable. I deposited on the spot. The sales manager located another dealer with a current build date and the estimated delivery is early December. Ordered an ibis white with alcantara, no other extras. The reason I did not purchase the silver car was a sticker of 66k, lots of options not interested in.
There have been discussions about discounts and pricing. They gave me 3% off plus Audi loyalty of $1000 for a total of about $2800 off. That about paid the taxes. The price was around 59k. I will keep the forum updated on delivery. Meanwhile I have a perfect 2009 S5 prestige, manual, deepsea blue with silver (off white) interior. The S5 is Audi certified till April of 2015 and 100k miles (currently 48k miles). Contact me for more info.
Question: how do you track build progress through Audi? I have a contract but am awaiting specific car info from dealer.

Nice deal...
IMHO - Nice deal! I just put a deposit down on a 2013 also this past weekend. Official delivery is mid-January (but they say it should be sooner). The best I could do was $1K off MSRP (no audi loyalty option since I don't have a current audi). I polled several other dealers in my area and they were all straight MSRP....so this was the best I could get.

Wow
I test drove that exact car last week; I was putting a deposit down today for a similar dealer trade but I guess you beat me to it. I cant blame the dealership too much for being greedy; good luck.

$500 more if you please
If you were a member of the Audi Club/North America you would be getting an additional $500.00 check from ACNA.
