Default Pulled over for front plate

Argg...got nabbed for the front plate this morning. I live right next to a police station and no problems but went to Cerritos to see a friend and their cops are a pain. He gave me trouble too...Is this YOUR car? What are you doing in this city? What's my birthday? I was polite as usual. Was hoping for a warning but nope.

Yeah...I should get the front plate filler but it just looks so ugly. I think I'm just going to jimmy-rig something together to get it signed off. Don't want to spend $300 to change the filler.

Anyone else pulled over for this yet?

I think they have some heavy duty magnets for plates for the front of cars that dont have a regular spot for plates.

Default Read about a few in the Chicago forum. Heard the cops check O'Hare parking. We came from

wonderful 1 plate TN to ulgy 2 plate IL a few years ago. Was days before I could bring myself to look at the front of my Mustang after my husband punched the holes thru and put that plate on. I've run the plate from the start on the TT, that way I don't even know how much better it could look.

I've only been pulled over for that once in my history of driving, and that was in '01.

Thankfully we don't have front plates here in NC.

Default I've been driving since 4/3/03 without a front plate and so far no issue in SD.

I've heard LA and surrounding areas are a bit more of a stickler though...

That's pretty cool...but does that hold when moving at high speeds?

Default I've had a few problems with cops but it was always a warning...never a ticket

and it always occurred when they pulled me over for something else. They never pulled me over because of it.

I guess I can jimmyrig it but anyone have any connections?
