Default Huntsville! You should bring that thing down to Barber in November.

Yellow is a good color. Had an Opel GT that color back in the 70s. I think my next car will be a 3.2 manual TT if I can fight off the Cayman temptation.

Once you've accelerated up to hwy speed and if the APR stuff is a few MPG better, it may be possible

Default Seriously. If I fill up the tank w/91 octane and reset both computer 1

and computer 2, then get straight on the highway and set cruise at 65 MPH I can get up to 43 MPG but the average is 39-41.

The last time I drove from Denver to Salt Lake City via I-25 & I-80 (all fairly flat, top up, AC off) I stopped for gas with 512 miles on the trip odometer and put in 13.1 gallons, squeezing in every drop. That works out to 39 mpg, and I have verified my odometer/speedometer using a GPS device.

If I run the stock tune and 87 octane fuel the best I get is 35-36 MPG.

If I set the cruise on the same stretch of road to 75-80 MPH then my mileage will drop to 35 on the tune and 31 on the stock setting.

Default How is the balance and suspension on the 3.2 any better?

The 3.2 has even more weight up front and feels like it has even more understeer to me. How is the suspension on the 3.2 any different?

Default I wouldn't go with what the computer says alone, I would calculate it

using actual fuel used versus mileage at next fill up.

Default Read the entire content and not just the header

I also said:

So that is hand calculated and distance verified with a dash mount GPS unit. Computer 2 said 39.9 so it was pretty close
