I remember reading a thread about how to improve the sound of the bose stereo by removing several hardware pieces on the door... anyone still have the thread?!

Default I'd be interested as well...have you adjusted the bass with Vag-Com?

Mine sounds pretty good after I told the computer I had a convertible with cloth seats.

Default vag-com

I'm really happy with the VAG, it let's me see and change all sorts of things. Also my dealer service department is pretty bad so it helps if I can tell them exactly what is happening when I bring it in. Otherwise it takes them 1 or 2 extra trips to fix it

Yeah, I'll probably buy the license & connector they sell when I get my car back from the body shop. Looks fun, although I'll be paranoid about messing something up ...

I'll have to see if there's a Canadian dealer for Ross-tech -- I'm never too thrilled with Canadian postal services ...
