Hi, I would like to know if anyone has been able activate windows up and down feature by remote? I search vag com but can not find coding setting for 2008 Audi tt. I tried under coding 7 under 46 cent cov and all that said remote control were check but it does not work. Please tell what byte you changed, if anyone has made it work.

It was just the adaptation code that showed up with a slightly helpful name in the VAG-COM software. Pretty sure it had "remote" or "windows" in the name.

I thought the long coding was seperate from the adaptation channels. But then again, it's been a long time since I've used it. If I get a chance this weekend I'll try to find it, but it wasn't hard to just figure it out from the software. Just try the ones that look right until it works?

Find and uncheck "Comfort function power windows/sunroof via remote control inactive"

(the following was already set on mine, but check anyway)

Find and check the box for "Comfort opening power windows via remote control active"
Find and check the box for "Comfort closing power windows via remote control active"

click "Transfer Coding"
click "Do It!"

I have the eBay cable that works for the B7 A4 (previous Audi)...not sure if that will work for the TT.
