Steering wheel gear change interface conventions
Does anyone know why the way steering wheel gear switching is different on Audis, BMWs and Porsches?
Is it because each company has patented their own convention? Or is it because each has a different belief that one is better than the other? Or is it because one is less costly to implement than the other? Or is it just to be different?
