Default Stock 2.0T Performance times?

0-60, 1/4 mile - Anybody that has a broken in 2.0T Coupe?

This has probably been discussed/posted before, but I am new to site. Just trying to gather info while waiting for my coupe that is on order. I am interested in the chip technology and how much difference it makes. Does not seem to be but a few options for me as far as shops go. I live right on the NC/SC line (near Myrtle Beach), but am picking up my car in Raleigh-Cary.

Thanks for any help and reccomendations -

Default Not many people take these to the track -- But car and driver did testing of a 2.0T DSG Coupe...

0-60 in 6.0

1/4 mile 14.6@97

No idea if they used launch control but I would assume not since they did not mention that in their write up.

As far as the chipped performance to a search for posts from myself about an automobile magazine article. They compared a stock gti to an r32 then chipped the gti with APR 93(thought to be the most conservative of the big 3 chip tuners) and tested again. The differences between the stock and chipped GTI should translate directly to the difference between stock and chipped TT.

Default

I think a chipped 2.0t TT is a little faster than a chipped GTI though

Default Definitely - Take the delta in the chipped vs stock GTI car and apply that to the C&D TT times

That would equate to approximately:

0-60 ~5.6

1/4 mile ~ 14.2 @99

0-100mph in ~14.2-3.

NOw of course you can't say for sure the TT would be that fast and you can't say it wouldn't be faster. But it should give a pretty good idea of performance of a chipped TT 2.0t.
