Surprised: no headlight washers; no voice command
Took my 3.2 for 5K service, and to fix the headlight washers and voice command.
They told me I have neither. On the Audi website, it says washers on Canadian 3.2's only, and nothing about Bluetooth voice command dialing, although it is in the owners manual.
I have emailed audi about this. Service told me not all cars are equipped with voice command, even though I have MMI/ Nav.
Rather deceiving.

Re: Had em on my old car, a useless feature IMO, wastes fluid and makes a mess.
Maybe you guys never have to deal with salt spray from the road coating everything ... including headlights ...

I dont. From the manual, after storing names in the directory, I should be able to call a name and the system should dial it. Nothing happens when I press the command button on the steering wheel. I have written audi to see if this is correct...or maybe I got taken. I do have the bluetooth option.

Hmm....So, when you press the voice button you have the option
of either dialing by number or dialing by name (you have to voice train/record the name in advance for a particular number). It should work, sounds like something is wrong?... Maybe try a different dealership?
