Is the suspension supposed to feel like this?
I just got my TT a couple weeks ago. It's a 3.2 with magride. Everything seems great except for the ride. The suspension feels really springy. It feels like I'm riding a suspension made of jello. What I mean by that is, every little bump on the road seems to initiate not one reaction from the suspension, but multiple small bounces such that I feel a constant sort of shuddering while traveling down even a seemingly smooth road. It's not that the entire car is doing this, mind you, just the suspension. The car feels perfectly stable and solid, but I can feel all this activity through the seat. Maybe I'm just not used to a very firm suspension, but it seems like they could have done a better job of isolating small road imperfections like this. So, my question is, is this normal or is there something wrong with my car?

I lowered my old A6 on H&R coilovers and ...
...while it certainly looked nice, it was definitely a different ride.
Not sure about the Mag Ride, but sounds similar. Stiff chasis will do that on slow bumps.

I noticed mine feels the same way a little while back.....(long)
it is more noticeable over multiple road imperfections, there is a bridge on I-40 on the way home it does this on if I am in a certain lane. also does it on another concrete bridge on the way home, it sets off the ASR system for some reason. oddly enough it is more noticeable when the mag ride is in normal. in sport it seems to calm down, although the ride is firmer. I think the valving in the normal setting is poorly matched to the springs. hmm maybe a good reason to change them. anyone else experience similar symptoms?

yeah i think you're right about it getting a little better in sport mode.
I park in a parking garage everyday and I have to drive over some of those small rounded bumps they use as lane dividers. It's kind of annoying because I expect to feel just one bump but intstead feel the bump followed by about a half second of "shudder". Oh well, as long as it's not just me.

a bumpy ride.
I've also got the magride - driving on the potholed unrepaired roads of Boston my car chronically feels like I'm on an old wooden rollercoaster but I don't seem to have any after effects such as you describe in either mode.
