Visibility was an issue in my MK I TT's (maybe not quite to the extent of a German helmet, but...) but I am quite happy with the MK II.
As for the back seats, those are for the adventurous, very small kids, family pets or short trips only.
I get a mixed mileage of 28ish (mostly if I play) but on long cruiser trips I have posted 31 mpg (fully loaded car, 70ish ave mph)

Good news is we're almost back to top-down weather. Within 30 seconds of the first spring drive I'll have forgotten all about it.

I own four TT's...2001 TT 225 Q Daily Driver (191k miles), MK 1 TT SCCA World Challenge race car, 2009 TTS Prestige (11k miles) with TT RS brakes, and a MK ll TT 3.2 Q we are building for another SCCA World Challenge race car.
Love the TTS...stock except for REVO...really like the exhaust sound, good visibility, yes, small back...for little kids only at best. No issues, performs flawlessly.
I own a Porsche /Audi repair shop...better build quality than a Cayman or Boxster without a doubt.
I'll be among the first to order a TT RS, so the TTS will go.

I've had my mom at 5'2" in the back and for not short periods of time, though I have to scoot the seat up borderline-uncomfortably to fit her in there. I think for small kids it'd be fine and plan to put my son back there as soon as he transitions from a rear facing to a front facing car seat.

Sigh... my five day old car is getting pretty grimy but with foul weather on the way, there's not much to do about it. Really looking forward to better weather so I can clean my ride up and get a few glamour shots.

Seriously I try not to torture people with the back seat. I tried sitting back there once and it's horrible even sitting sideways and I am a total shortie! Now only the pups get to sit back there and they're only 16" tall. Even then I don't think they appreciate it much. But hey they're dogs so no verbal complaints from them. LOL!
