Default Timing chain tensioner Audi TTS 2009

Hello everyone, I just bought a 2009 Audi TTS a few weeks ago. I have a good friend who does lots of mechanic work. He is telling me I need to change the timing chain tensioner ASAP. Well I just did a timing belt job but he is telling me on the back end of the motor, it also has a CHAIN and that the CHAIN TENSIONER needs to be replaced.

So i have read on various websites that Audi and VW with the 2.0T have had lots of timing chain tensioner problems but on the TSI motors. The TTS has a TFSI. So do I replace the chain tensioner or do those really go bad? Talked with a professional Audi/VW mechanic a week ago and he said that the back end never needs to be touched... So I am a bit conflicted... Some help or advice would be great!

My engine code is CDMA if anyone needs that info

The chain tensioner is not a common problem on the Mk 2 TTS. I've never seen a failure reported on this or any other Mk 2 board in the past 10 years. I think I've read in the past that you will start to hear a rattle when the chain tensioner starts to go bad.
