where is the top down sensor? i keep getting a message it’s not secure but i know it is.

It's inside the motor, either the top frame motor or flap motors, They used an optical sensor to determine gear position that gets covered in grime. Common problem. You can take it apart and clean it but it's a bitch to get to. Most repair shops just replace the motor.

So this is in the flapper assy then? I have two brand-new ones I have not installed yet. I just finished installing a new pump so, I guess this is my next project.
