Default I'd wait... There is a new Nav unit coming soon that's based on the VW RNS-510...

real iPod support, 30 GB internal HD, HD radio, Sat, etc.

Default '010 TT won't get the same Nav as other Audis . . .

From what I heard, it will be improved in '010, but it will not be identical to the one in other Audis. Don't know exactly which features will or will not be included. Apparently the TT Nav is different hardware. Just a heads-up not to expect parity with the rest of the Audi line.

go for a new Kenwood DNX6140 instead of the Pioneer. The KW has built in blue Tooth and uses Garmin navigation software with txt. to speach. The Garmin software is MUCH better than both the Audi OEM or Pioneer Nav. software. The KW's Garmin map data is provided by NavTech and is much more accurate than the Tele Atlas map data the Pioneer uses.

If you have an 09 and add an 08 unit it won't work with newer handsets (eg 3G iPhone)

Default do you know where they got the new flace plate from?...

The one in the TT is not perfectly square so they must have got the new dash kit from somewhere. Thanks again.

Default Yeah....

This is where all the guys on the UK forums got theirs... You could probably find them here, but I doubt there's a real need for this as it's custom to the MkII and how many US MkII's have custom headunits??

...so I'd just order it from here if I were you..

http://www.connects2.com/c2search.aspx?catID=61</a
