Default TT RS

What kind of discount, if any, are people getting on the TT RS?

Truecar.com, which I've found to be a decent measure of pricing possibilities, suggests the average sales price is $500 under MSRP, but that $500 over invoice (about $3000 off MSRP) is possible. See here.

Discount?

I got one of the first ones, MSRP, no one would budge. When I picked it up places were asking 3-5K over.

Don't know what exactly they're going for now, but considering how hard they are to get, I would be flabbergasted at below MSRP.

I wonder what kind of power TT RS would put out with an ECU tune. Is this engine being used in other applications currently?

No need to wonder

The engine is currently only used in the TTRS and RS3 but will also apparently be available in the Q3 (according to recent updates to Etka database).

I got about $2,400 off of sticker, but it wasn't easy. The only reason I got a shot at this car was because it was ordered and the buyer backed out. He ordered the carbon fiber mirrors for $1900 and I argued that the price for the mirrors was excessive. The salesman told me that they were told to sell for MSRP only and was surprised that the sales manager discounted the car. By the way, the car also has Tech package, Titanium package, and Heated Seats.

Totally agree. It seems that this was a unique situation though. They basically through in the CF mirrors for free...which hurts me since I and many others, checked that box without knowing the price. The 1900 was tough to swallow but the car was made already by the time we knew the price. Oh well, I'm still thrilled with it.

I contacted Stasis and they said their tune should be available after the first of the year. My dealer recommended them and stated it was the only tune that would not void my Audi warranty. Anybody have any experience with Stasis products?
