Default TT RS Roadster ordered

Hi All,
Am usually at the Q7 forum, also own a MK1 TTQ Roadster (180).

Love the Audi brand thus just ordered the TT RS Roadster. Specs are as follows;

The Car: TT RS Roadster 2.5 TFSI quattroŽ 340PS 6-speed manual

Options ordered;

1) Mugello blue, pearl effect
2) RS bucket seats in Fine Nappa leather upholstery and trim
3) Interior trim colours: - Black with silver stitching
4) 19 x 9J '5-arm rotor' design alloy wheels with 255/35 R19 tyres
5) iPod connection
6) Auto-dimming, folding, electrically-operated and heated door mirrors
7) Adaptive lights
8) Matt aluminium styling pack
9) Interior light package
10) Audi magnetic ride

Anyone else buying one? I think this little rocket will be a classic - performance figures are just damn impressive!

Relatively speaking, it is a good price considering the performance on offer and the likely exclusivity (most people will not 'get' the significance of this car thus will opt for a 911 or M3).

This car takes Audi back to the 'old' days of 5-cyl Turbo Quattro - think back to the 80s...

Hey CongraTTrs! But much like TTsteve I'd love to know what your final dollar amount is all said and done. I am toying with the idea and if it comes ....maybe! But I'm sure it's going to be astronomical.

Am in the UK, WE ALWAYS PAY TOO MUCH for cars - so am used to it by now. All I can say is that, the price was, relatively speaking, a bargain - to me atleast.

I do also own a couple of V8s and a V12 in other brands so the TT RS is a real bargain for the performance - in fact it is quicker than both of my v8s, atleast on paper!

We shall see what it drives like.
