Default TTS Interior (U.S. Spec)

FYI-
I have been informed by AofA Corp. that all U.S. Spec. TTS cars will have the console in black with contrast stitching... vs. the contrast color console that Europe has as an option.

US Spec:

Default It also looks like the Euro pic is "extended leather" or whatever the option is called.

The gauge cluster pod looks like it has leather with orange stitching. US spec pic looks like standard plastic/rubber, unless it's black stitching that I just can't see.

Default I should say the first pic you posted looks like black stitching...

I cant see them using plain plastic or rubber on the TTS. My comment was based off the pic you posted... :-)

Default Actually I'm not sure who is right?

I've seen it both ways for the TTS... All I know is that it's black... not sure about the contrast or match stitching.

Default Wonder why Audi chooses to nix options like that for us bound cars...

All the DOT changes I understand but interior trim color I dont get. Only thing I can think is that it speeds production some how maybe...

Default It works to our advantage and disadvantage...

By grouping into packages we get things standard that in other countries have as options... then we can't customize as much... at the end it's like you said... easier on production.

Default I honestly think it is the difference between standard and "Enhanced Interior Package".

The "Enhanced Interior Package" is available today on the normal TT. But I could see it being removed as an option for the TTS. Although I don't know why. It's more like it should be standard on the TTS.

Elements of "Enhanced Interior Package".

With colored leather items
Fine nappa leather seats
Leather above instrument cluster
Leather center console/armrest
Leather door pull/ door inserts
Storage Package
Folding compartment under front seats
Net in front of passenger's footwell
Nets on back of front seats
Load securing net in the luggage compartment

Wow... i'm really not liking their move on that... What else are they going to butcher???
