TTS Turbo Lag
#14
Fasinating how there are many people (including car reviewers) who think the lag is significant enough to point out in reviews or with threads such as this.....and then there are others who swear there really isn't appreciable lag, not enough to make a topic about it.
ROFLMAO.

I am very impressed....you must be Mr Zippy himself!!!!
I think I've owned enough cars over the years to have a sense of things (a new one every 2-3 years for the past 35 years). Dontcha wonder about the many posts on all the chat boards and reviewer comments about lag? But of course, you are Mr Zippy...zoom zoom zoom.
All the best,

Since you have mentioned this in the past, I'd like to provide a counter argument:
There are millions of cars on the streets around the world that have by far slower initial acceleration than the TT even with turbo lag. Even without trying hard, my poor little laggy 2.0T zooms well ahead of all the other cars without even having to floor the accelerator. You would think that if what you describe is such a major problem, there would be plenty of people suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome by now.
