btw, I use slot 7 (parking sensor/ homelink) for the hardwire.

How did you attach the remote, Velcro? And, how bright is the remote display at night, can it be seen by other drivers? Thanks.

Yup velcro... Just a small patch.
Other drivers can't really see, they have to be standing at the right angle and right outside of your door.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

good install, but odd placement.. right where the cop can see it when you get pulled over.. or of course, someone else could see it to smash-and-grab

Cops - True cop might see it from the outside. I have try looking at it from the outside... because of the TT is pretty low, the A pillar blocks the display most of the time... I just like the position 'cause it keep my eyes on the road.

Smash-and-grab - I never park on the street and if I do, it's very easy to unplug and stow away since is velcro.
