Default More like a R4 than TT...

Sweet shape for sure and a nice a mid-engine car. But my dog says stick with the TT and it's fairly practical hatch !

Default I like the look/design of it, if it's in the Mid $20K range, I'd buy it in a heart beat..

however, looking at Zerin's pics, the interior seems to have that plasticy cheapish look to it (look at the dash/center console/"trans tunnel"

Most likely to keep the weight down as much as possible...but I'd still buy it if the seats were comfy...

I think it will dilute the TT buyers.....just as nice for half the price>..bad move.

Default I don't think so...

-The VW will be the cheap version with smaller performance.
-The Audi version (Baby R?) will be all tech with quattro, mag ride and more lux.
-The Porsche version will be... well a Porsche!

Personally I'm waiting for the rumored Porsche or Audi version!

Default I agree, I think this one is going to be poised to go after the Miata/Sky/Solstice market...

with an appropriate price point to match.

Materials quality will be VW, but I think they are really going for simple, light, cheap.

Default I've been waiting to see that! If they put the base 2.0T in it will run with a TTS no problem.

Rear wheel drive + launch control would be insane.
