No halogens, ever again. Had em on my first A6, my second A6 had Xenons, now Im hooked.
I always wanted the Alcantara over the leather and don't miss the leather arm rest, as I hear it interferes with mah lattes.
I got the iPod integration and premium sound included in the deal, which is nice, and sounds terrific. Never heard the regular, but I think iPod integration only comes with the better sound package, don't quote me though. iPod integration could be "better" (no track names display) but it is seamless and looks better then cords and external crap.
No mag ride, (had H&R coil overs on my last car, uninterested in Audi's "aftermarket" renditions of suspension, especially after hearing how well they executed DRC on the old RS6's. Those customers are really happy now, go check out the RS 6 forum if you care to see. Still, I was over the firm, firmer ride and stock is perfect for this lightweight car, not to harsh, not too soft.
However, I had to have at least 18's on there and the run flats saved me the in first month alone, so Im glad I went that route. 17's are too small (had em on my first A6). I wanted some 19 RS 4's but they couldn't work in a good deal for em, and I can always do that later (and cheaper) if I change my mind.
You probably want the same car I have (minus the sound if youre uninterested in such things), but the Xenon's, (premium), 18's and Alcantara is a winning combo in my book.

Musts:
Premium Pkg
Bi-Xenons
Magnetic Ride
Bluetooth (remember July 1, holding a phone is illegal in CA; FYI in the roadster, voice-command is disabled)
iPod Connector (still the same bad CD-changer implementation)
Options:
Enhanced leather
NAV (no traffic info; no voice text-to-speech that reads aloud street names; no voice-command). Get a Garmin Nuvi 880 with MSN Direct and attach it down the center console.

GadgeTT is an aftermarket accessory mount (for cameras, phones, hand-held navigation units, etc.). I bought the V5 version in crinkle black finish (available in brushed and satin silver too).

Yes, I bought the TT Accessories all weather rubber floormats. They are a little small for my liking (wish they came up the firewall a little higher).
I have the factory foam trunk liner, not the rubber one. The rubber one is available at U.S. dealers, but it's thicker and heavier than I wanted. I ordered the foam one from VAGparts and it's lighter and can roll up and fold out of the way.

I agree, the S-Line package is an excellent deal if your considering upgrading the wheels and interior to leather. Your looking at maybe an additional $1200 at that point to get the whole package. It's a no brainer at that point IMO.
My sole reason for not going with the S-Line was because of the 19" wheel.
While I love the look of them (yes, there HOT!), I was more concerned with bending a rim. NJ roads aren't the greatest!
The price of the Mag ride I think is also very good. The ride is firmer then stock but it can be turned on/off at your leisure which is a god-send.

when I bought the car, I bought the tire/wheel warrantee which covers unlimited repair/replacement of wheels and/or tires for any damage, even curb rash that's my fault! I paid around $500 for the coverage, which is full 5 years and no deductible. I love the look of the 19"s also - that, plus the short shifter and the interior were the selling points. Went with mag ride also, which I'm happy with.
