My dealer adjusted them for me the other day as they were not spraying in the right place but now it's actually worse... ???
I don't think they actually tried them after adjusting... good god...
Any instructions available? nothing in the manual

spot since the air speed will "knock" the spray down. To adjust all I think you need is a small needle or wire that is small enough to fit in the holes but sturdy enough not to bend. Stick it in a hole and adjust accordingly. At least this is how other cars I tried are. Haven't actually checked mine to confirm if it is the same.

I believe they can be adjusted, to a very limited degree, by placing a flat-blade screwdriver in the slots on the ends of the round areas, and turning as you would a screw.
I had one of mine replaced under warranty.
Even when new or perfectly adjusted ("perfectly" being relative), they hit low on the windshield. The windshield wipers also interfere with the stream, making them more ineffectual.
Not a strong point of Mk1 design, to say the least.
