2017 TT USB retrofit from charge only to data transfer
Hello,
I have a 2017 TT eu spec. The car has the only charge USB hub but comes with MIB2 unite that allows Carplay and AA to be activated. However the show stoper is the charge only USB hub.
I have purchased the correct hub 8S0 035 736 second hand from another TT same year. Also the following set of cables that I was advised to purchase for that specific retrofit - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...2usa4itemAdapt
But here is problem I cannot find any guidance on how to connect the wires and which once should I swap the 2 cables the AMI one is missing so it is plug and play but the other one e believe not so much and it has 2 wires probably power and ground that has to be wired somehow somewhere. Can anyone assist with information and guidance how to tackle this one.
I've went through the forum and couldn't find any related thread. In the A4/A5 there are some but they are using different cables and I don't think it is applicable for me.
I am willing to create a detailed guide after completing this for future use.
Thank you.
