Engine Oil Overheating in 2018 Audi TTS

Hey, last Saturday was driving up IH-35 going only about 70 to 75 MPH when the engine oil overheating light displayed and telling me I needed to pull over immediately. Before I could take the next exit, that light went out so crisis was averted. I have a 2018 Audi TTS and the engine oil has reached 228 on only several occasions in the past 4 years. But on Saturday, outside temperature was mid-70s, nowhere near as hot as in the dead of summer. At the time my engine oil overheating light came on, it was 228 degrees. COOLANT temp was right at the halfway mark and has been there for the entire 4 years I have owned the car. But I checked the engine oil today, 6 days later, both while the car was running and while the car was turned off, and in both circumstances, the oil level was FULL.
So I have scheduled an appointment with my local Audi dealer and he is booked up until June: !!! I went ahead and scheduled an appointment but would really like some kind of peace of mind for the next several months as I now consider the vehicle no longer roadworthy.
Going to check the COOLANT level tomorrow.
Could the oil PUMP be going out on me? Because there is no engine oil on the garage floor and the only oil that has been added has been at the Audi dealership, last done in November, just a few months ago.
Thanks for any help from anyone,
DannyBoy1951

Maybe you're worried about nothing, If you have a scanner (it does not sound like you do) lookup the oil and coolant design/actual temps. For my CYNB motor (similar to your car) here is the read out when outdoor temp was 15C or 60F.
IDE06397 Temperature sensor for engine temp. management: target value 107.3 °C
IDE00193 Coolant temperature at engine outlet: specified value 102.7 °C
IDE03582 Temperature sensor for engine temperature management 102.7 °C
IDE00025 Coolant temperature 103 °C
IDE00556 Outside air temperature 15 °C
Your oil is at 109C which is not particularly high. If you are still worried or you get persistent warnings get a scan from an indie. There could be some other bother.

Hey, THANKS morris39. I checked the COOLANT exactly one week later and it was BELOW THE MINIMUM level. And I added only a small amount to get it back up to MAXIMUM. Readily confess I have never owned a vehicle with an ENGINE OIL temperature gauge. Making things worse, it was this light, not the coolant light, that appeared briefly.
And AFTER adding coolant, then engine STILL runs right at the halfway mark between C(old) and H(ot) as it did before: WTF?
But wanted to thank you for your response,
