Default Pet protection

I just took delivery of my new TT RS yesterday, and now I need to solve the problem of making sure that interior is protected from damage from my dog (Zathras) when he rides with me.

Sometimes he is in the front with me, in which case I already have a solution (I have a great seat protection cover).

Other times he is in the back, with both seats folded down. I have a great pet harness / seat-belt that attaches to the child seat anchor point to keep him safe, but I wonder, has anyone found a mat that covers the ENTIRE cargo area when the seats are folded down (including the now-horizontal backs of the rear seats)? The only ones that I can find online only cover the cargo area floor as it exists when the seats are up...

In the past I've used an OEM or WeatherTech cargo liner and attached a cut-piece of an old liner to extend it to cover downed seatbacks. Afixed beneath with Gorilla tape or similar. Works very well.

Since I buy a cargo liner for most every car, and remove it at trade-in, I usually have an extra about. They cut/trim very easily.

There are a lot of aftermarket seat covers out there. Carhartt makes a nice one, that should provide lots of protection, though it isn't a fitted cover.
Some of it depends upon how big Zathras is? French Bulldog or Mastif.

I ended up solving the problem for under $20:
Black-Rectangular-Door-Mat-Common-3-ft-x-4-ft-Actual-36-in-x-48-in

This works as Zathras doesn't shed much, and he tends to just lie down in the middle of the mat.

When the rear seats are needed (rarely) I can always just roll it up...
