Hi!

i got my (new to me) 2018 TTRS yesterday and reading the manual that came with the car is a TT manual not a TTRS.

is there a dedicated manual for the RS?

My TTS has a TTS/TT owners manual which references the differences as necessary throughout. It wouldn't surprise me if they did a TTRS/TTS/TT with similar discriminating references. There're a whole lot more similarities between the model variants than differences and most manufacturers economize by commonality reuse to this degree when writing their technical manuals.

Having said that, there really ought to be a discrete TTRS manual given that it's a, well, RS.

I don't think so. I definitely know the smaller Mk 3 quick reference guide is for all 3 models; TT, TTS, TTRS. The Mk 2 only had one owners manual for all 3 models.
