Alright I sprayed some water on the coils and plug wires. No light show. Do you gues know if a bad intake manifold tuning valve (n156) could cause these symtops. I'm stumped on this one. Also doesn't 17549 emply the MAF may be suspect. 139.72g/s. just seems kinda low at WOT run. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Pure water could be a far fetch but if you had soap or something mixed in water it could be the reason your problem went away.
Water (and soap solution) is a penetrating liquid and it could be that soap in water, if it had any, penetrated in some very fine cracks in coil housing or plug wire and after drying acts as isolator in the crack, i.e. prevents spark from leaking to engine ground.

No soap just plain old water. Seeing as the problem went away, I'm starting to lean more towards an injector. Going just wait and see what happens.
