ABS llight Fault Code 287 RR ABS speed sensor (help)
Hi all. i just did my rear brake pads and rotors and I am getting the RR abs sensor 287 code on a FWD 1998 1.8t A4. I reinstalled the old sensor rotors and thought I was careful to get them on straight. Also, I mistakingly hammered the RR rotor, because I was unclear how to remove them at first.
Should I replace the speed sensor rotor or should I go ahead and replace the abs speed sensor at that wheel? Is there a way to test the abs speed sensor w/vag-com?
Any suggestions appreciated.
