Default Any way to get history (or logged mileage) on start of a fault code?

I get the following on my 2006 A3 2.0T & I want to find out when it first faulted:

Default Try this:

Go to the module directly, read fault codes and double-click on the fault. If there's freeze-frame data available, it will be shown.

FWIW, the next version of VAG-COM will have all available freeze-frame data shown in-line.

Thanks that worked! What exactly is a "freeze-frame"?

Default "Freeze Frame" is data collected and stored at the time a fault is set.

The concept originated with generic OBD-II back in the mid 1990's, but has not been supported by the native VAG protocols until very recently.

The type of data collected and stored varies by control module and fault.
