attempted to change the codes for that TIP trans and

the codes were not taking. This is to add the 00032 code to the tcu to keep in a sport modefor the TIP. Will it work on a 99.5 and does it require inputting a login number? Any procedures that need to be followed? Search failed to give detailed procedures.

I tried the same and it didn't work for me either.

Good luck. I think you need the dealer code, do we?

ignition key

have you guys try to recode when the ignition is on position and the engine is off. That was my problem when I first tried to reprogram my A8.

Make sure that the engine is not running

I had the same problem.

If you try to recode when the ignition switch is on but without the engine running, it will likely work.It will accept a new code with the engine running.

This worked on my 2000 2.7T (build 11/99) after several unsuccesful attempts with the engine running.
