attempting to test evaporator vent temperature sensor in 2003 Allroad
Would appreciate any input on the attached logs. I believe I was running the rests per the Bentley AC manual, but, it suggested comparing group 10, field 1 with group 9, fields 3 & 4 - but, my reading for group 10, field 1 says not installed. Have never posted in this section, apologize in advance if I've not included something. HVAC section 8 tests are included at the end of the post - some with A/C on, some with A/C off.
My A/C has been underperforming in extremely hot weather, and I've been trying to avoid having to take the car to the dealer. I'm suspicious of this evaporator vent temp sensor, which was why I was doing these tests. I'd had the A/C evacuated & recharged this summer, was told by the dealer there didn't appear to be any leaks and they thought everything was functioning "according to specs." Once the outside temps get above 90 degrees, I can't get the cabin cooled to less than 82 degrees.
