Default B6 - Climate control fault codes

I recently helped someone retrofit an RNS-E to their B6 TQ.

As part of the retrofit, we had to do a double din conversion and fitted a double din climate control that was sourced from Europe. The car does not have heated seats whilst the climate control does - aside from throwing up a fault code, I don't think this should cause a problem.

We are having a problem with the rear demister switch though - upon pressing it it stays on momentarily and then turns off. It is also registering a fault code.

When we refit the original climate control (just plugging it in as it's from the single din installation) the rear demister works fine with the button staying on when pressed.

I'm thinking it's an issue with the new climate control (ie might need an electrician to open it up and take a look) - can anyone shed any light on this issue though?

Here is the fault codes:

VCDS Version: Release 805.3

Address 08: Auto HVAC
Control Module Part Number: 8E0 820 043 AM
Component and/or Version: A4 Klimaautomat 2731
Software Coding: 00000
Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
4 Faults Found:

00604 - Potentiometer Positioning Motor for Air Flow Flap (G113)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus
00975 - Heated Rear Window (Z1)
39-10 - Output won't Switch or Short to Ground - Intermittent
01172 - Temperature Sensor; Driver's Heated Seat (G59)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus
01171 - Temperature Sensor; Passenger Side Heated Seat (G60)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus

PS - I'm not worried about the potentiometer fault code as the climate control is from a car sold in a different market.
