cant get ECSTuning cable to work with vag com 409.1.........

Default cant get ECSTuning cable to work with vag com 409.1.........
I have downloaded the VCP drivers, the cable is installed and functioning. when i test the port, it says its found and ready. But when i enter into control module and select anything (ie 01-engine) i get a message saying, "No Response from Controller"

help me make this work please!

Default No problem when you buy the 'real deal'
Suggest you get in contact with ECS Tuning for support if they sold you the cable.
