I don't want the defaults, I need a list of what options are supported in a 2006 Concert II.

TI Kan has "Sound Coordination" at 0 and this one was 1.

I need to figure out what "Sound Coordination" options are and also what EQ curves are supported.

We are upgrading the system with new speakers in front and a sub, and the front pre-outs didn't work until we recoded for Bose (second-to-last digit from 0 to 1). Recoding for Bose did not change the EQ curves, I suspect it enabled the preouts and turned on the display.

When finished I will post pics of the RTA curves and such.



The R preamp outputs are flat except for an auto-loudness bump, but the F preamp outputs are equalized. I suspect there is a way to recode them to flat but I don't know what it is.

I experimented with changing "Sound Coordination" to values between 1 and 5, but the results on the RTA were inconclusive.

1) There is another digit in front of these 6. When we changed the 2nd digit to 1, we got a "sat receiver" error code, and when we changed the second-to-last digit to 1, we got a "nav" error code, so we are pretty certain on this.

2) The last item has a 5 - this car has Concert II, MFSW, no CDC, no phone, and I think diversity (I see 2 antennas on the back of the radio).

3) Tone characteristics. No matter what setting we set it to, the preamp output of the deck showed the same output on the audio analyzer - and that output was not flat, as other Audi HU's have tested. This setting did not seem to be affecting the front channel response at all.

Does the Concert II get used in any 2006 Bose systems?

Since we can't seem to VAG-COM the HU to have a flat output, we just de-eq'd it in the Zapco DC series amp's DSP front end.

But I still don't believe that all Audi HU's have EQ-ing. We've tested enough to know many don't, and I don't think the Bose systems that have all external amplification have internal EQ-ing in the HU.
