Is it possible to connect VAGCom directly to an ECU (out of vehicle)? (Audi TT 2000, K-Line)
Looking at the wiring diagrams, I can't see a K-Line pin on the ECU (I can see CAN-L and CAN-H).
The only K-Line (from the OBD skt), I can see seems to go directly to the instrument cluster. There are then connections from the instrument cluster to the CAN-L and CAN-H pins on the ECU.
I'm presuming that all communications (i.e. from vagcom) must go through the instrument cluster....
Any ideas?

It's basically the K-line, with the instrument cluster acting as sort of a firewall and this line is also running the immo related communication.
