Diagnose ABS control module with Vag-Com?

I (as some other guy in this forum) have some problems with my "longitudinal acceleration sensor, G251", I tested with a sensor from a friends car and it didn't help. The DTC is still there and the ABS-warning light goes on. When I'm reading of the sensor I get a value saying that the vehicle accelerates with ~10.119ms/sec even when I'm standing still. Perhaps it's the ABS control unit that is the problem and not the sensor. Can I use Vag-Com tomake some kind of sanity check on my ABS control unit?

the car on a level surface.
If that doesn't fix it, then either the control module is wonked or you've got a wiring problem to the sensor.
